Where do I even begin . Well I'll tell you my story up to where I got to Derrels garage. I moved to Colorado from Houston in June of this year, brought back a majority of my belongings over but had left a few things behind , mainly my 1984 mercedes benz. The goal for myself in the middle of the summer was to go back to house and drive my Mercedes back. But there's more to this. I ended up doing a full engine swap project within a week to complete my vehicle (project still ongoing). With all that I did and a few fuel line mistakes I did I planned for it to take me to Amarillo for day 1 of travel. Day 2 was home stretch into Denver. Now the real story starts.... I noticed fuel leakage when I arrived to Amarillo on day 1 of travel , I didn't think much of it for the fact that these are simple mechanical engines with little bits to repair if need be. And in the morning of day 2 , I realized I was not gonna make it work with this leak. Turns out my fuel thermostat decided to rupture and air was coming into the fuel lines. We were traveling and had fuel pump on our RV that needed replacing. I called and J.R. said, "Sure, bring it right in and we'll get it done by 3pm. " And they DID!! Outstanding! So friendly! A gift from God on our journey!

We were traveling through Amarillo on our way to Colorado when we one of our hubs went bad. Derrels Garage made time for us with their already busy schedule. They went above and beyond to help us get back on the road. From the moment we arrived, they treated us with urgency, professionalism, and genuine care. They worked hard to diagnose and repair the issue quickly, keeping us informed throughout the process and doing everything they could to minimize the disruption to our trip. Thanks to their expertise and outstanding customer service, we were able to continue our journey with confidence. We can't thank them enough and would highly recommend them to anyone needing honest, dependable automotive service in the Amarillo area.

Our truck broke down on the way to Colorado 9 hours from home . Long story short the service in Amarillo is amazing . Very hospitable . The RJ at the shop tried to help us from the night before with a tow truck and had the lowest hourly price in the area . Very patient . We had to replace a transmission he gave us the best options and got it done in to days once received . They offered to shuttle us to our hotel and bank . RJ even called to see if the break pump I need was under warrantee. It is so he suggested it best to go there. The service was great and as quick as could be.

They were incredible from start to finish! I needed to have my engine replaced, and they kept me informed every step of the way. The work was completed quickly, and they even checked everything over again a month later for my peace of mind before a long trip. I truly couldn’t be more impressed with their service! 👏
